Still backplate
brief requirements
Getting the right information upfront makes everything smoother. We need different details at the proposal stage versus right before the shoot. Here’s what to send and when.
Photo Backplates
Proposal Stage
For accurate pricing and scheduling, we need:
- Project address
- Map showing camera locations
- Views with camera heights above grade and time of day (wireframes or Google Earth screenshots)
- If requesting magic hour or twilight: reference images showing the exact lighting you want
Shoot Prep
Before we head to the site, we need:
- Project address
- Map showing camera locations
- Camera heights above grade for each view
- View wireframes
- Google Earth screenshots of each view without the project visible, so we can reference current buildings and surroundings for accurate framing. Models don’t always match reality. Google Earth helps. We understand these views are approximate and will defer to wireframes.
- Time of day for each view
- If requesting magic hour or twilight: reference images showing the exact lighting you want
