A view study captures panoramas at multiple elevations to show how views change with height. We typically shoot every 50 feet from ground level to the top of the building, creating a complete vertical profile of what buyers, illustrators, or marketing teams will see from any floor.
Why This Matters
Views drive pricing. A unit on the 10th floor doesn’t command the same premium as one on the 30th. View studies give developers concrete visual evidence of what justifies those price differences. Instead of describing the view, you can show it.
For illustrators, view studies provide backplates at every elevation without scheduling separate shoots. Need to render a unit on Level 25? The backplate already exists. Change the unit location mid-project? No reshoots needed.
Marketing teams use view studies to show prospective buyers exactly what they’ll see from their future unit. Interactive tours let people explore views from different floors without visiting the site.
How It Works
We capture panoramas at regular intervals. Typically every 50 feet, but the spacing depends on the building height and your needs. For a 500-foot tower, that might be 10 elevations. For a shorter building, we might shoot every 25 feet.
Each panorama is captured from the same horizontal position, just at different heights. That keeps the perspective consistent. The only variable is elevation.
We deliver view studies as interactive virtual tours. Navigate between floors with a click. No downloading heavy image files. No dealing with file transfers. We host the tour online and give you a sharable URL. Send it to your team, embed it in a presentation, share it with buyers. It just works.
We can also deliver the panoramas as individual stitched images or as RAW unstitched photos if you need the source files for your own workflow. Your call.
Single View or Multiple Views
We can create a tour for a single view direction, or combine multiple view directions into one tour. If you need north, south, east, and west views at every elevation, we can organize that into a single interface where users select both the floor and the direction.
When to Use View Studies
Early in development when pricing units and need to justify view premiums. During design when illustrators need backplates for multiple elevations. In marketing when showing prospective buyers what they’ll actually see. Anytime views matter and you need documentation at more than one or two floors.
What We Need From You
Project address, view directions, elevation intervals (every 50ft, every 25ft, specific floors), and time of day. If you’re requesting magic hour or twilight, send reference images so we’re aligned on the exact lighting you want.
